David is the best broker on the country. I don't say that lightly, have mortgaged and remortgaged 50 times in the last 10 years. The service he provided, I would honestly pay double what I did. And in fact I even told him I was prepared to pay him more because the value he provided far exceeded what he was charging. I have not come across a broker who is such a great communicator , very empathetic and provides a calm reassurance when things get complicated and stressful. I truly believe one of the biggest factors of getting our residential mortgage was David's people skills which he used in talking about our complicated situation with the bank. For a purchase, David had to try and raise money from multiple properties to help fund our residential purchase. He understands house purchases are stressful and does everything to take the stress away from us. He always communicated to us quickly whether it be in the evening or weekend and was always on the phone. David makes you feel he is always on your team, and not once did we feel he didn't have our interests at heart. Coupled with the fact he really knows his stuff, literally any type of financial product. Thanks David. We will definitely be working with you again.

Clifton Davis was referred to us by my company accountant and in his words "Clifton is the best one in town & you won't regret it". After 7 months of haggling in this volatile & fluid mortgage market, all I can say is that every letter from my accountant has come out true in dealing with Clifton for our mortgage application & property conveyancing process. We bought an Victorian property (circa 1870) that required a lot of back & forth and endless scrutiny by the lender and Clifton with his perseverance and knowledge helped us not only with identifying the right set of lenders to approach but he would even establish preliminary contact with some of them to discuss our case and shortlist for making an application if & only if there is a high likelihood of getting accepted - he has tools that suggest matching lenders to borrower's income & property specifics. This way our credit file remained unaffected and all the heavy lifting in answering the lender queries were handled by Clifton himself. Clifton is master of his trade and has also helped us identify possible insurance companies (was a tad tricky because of the size & age of the property) and also with obtaining life insurance cover on the mortgage in the event of any adversity. Overall, without an iota of doubt I would recommend Clifton Davis Financial Services if you wish peace of mind and assurance of seeking a mortgage and I'm already in discussion with him for my next buy-to-let purchase.

Recommend for all, especially those of you that generally need guidance and support in buying your first home. I am an only parent with a young child and thought buying a home was out of scope completely. My personal situation changed drastically over the last year which put me into a sticky situation with housing. I was in a position where I wanted to buy a house but felt it was unachievable. Absolute breathe of fresh air dealing with Clifford Davis and Clifton in particular. As a first time buyer I had very little knowledge on the process on purchasing a home. Clifford Davis Financial planning, guided me in the most professional manner from the very beginning to the very end. Clifton, who helped me with my case, was extremely helpful from the get. He explained every step of the mortgage process in a very clear and concise manner. With a lot of information surrounding the notion of a mortgage, Clifton helped break down the jargon and clearly outlined what was needed and required of me to help acquire a mortgage. We looked at my circumstance and discussed in detail various options mortgage wise ensuring it met my requirements as well as the banks. The attention to detail and the time spent on me and my case is something i must highlight. I am pretty sure you won't find any other brokers who will spend as much time on a case making sure everything was perfect as Clifton did. The advice he gave was fantastic and absolutely helpful.
